Congratulations to The Wedding Co. for their 10th anniversary. They pulled off yet another fantastic wedding show. I had a great time munching on and admiring the most delightful cakes, seeing the coolest invitations, dresses, decor and celebrating their big 10 with them.
More show highlights to follow. For now here’s a little teaser of some show snaps:

How is this for DIY decor? Amazing collaboration and amazing handiwork.

Love The Design had a really funky vintage-inspired booth.

Sampling macaroons, cakes, salted caramels and more from Bobbette & Belle.

Grenville Pinto playing to a crowd.

Love cake opera’s red velvet cake. Don’t live in Toronto area. My guests are allergic to chocolate And since some red velvet cakes contain chocolate I don’t know if cake operas did. Could you find this info for me because I see u covered the Carlu spread. Much appreciated love your blog!!!!
Hi Jo, According to Jessica from Cake Opera, the cocoa in red velvet along with vinegar & buttermilk are actually what make is distinctly red velvet flavoured. A beautiful but subtle flavour. If we take away the cocoa then in will be more like a vanilla/buttermilk cake. Totally possible, but the flavour will be more vanilla than anything traditionally “red velvet”. Good luck with all your wedding planning!
