Jackie and Myles got engaged over Valentines and chose to hold their winter wedding at Taboo Resort in Gravenhurst for its serene tranquil setting. Eventdecorator.com was called in to help make their winter wedding an exquisite reality, taking care of planning, florals and decor. Photos from Rowell photography.
Time to showcase more inspiration from last week’s big event: The Wedding Show at The Carlu in Toronto. I love this “classic with a twist” Burberry-inspired wedding decor from Courture Cuisine & Event Artistry . It’s understated luxury, updated with modern elements (check out the black sequin pillows behind the Burberry pillows).
Who knew warm beiges and browns would work so well with dashes of white, green, red, and black!
Couture Cuisine also served us a delicious hot chocolate, followed by quail.
I love the unusual colour palette of this winter wedding: lime green, purple, and black and white damask! It works both for winter and spring. Thanks to Avenue Photo for sharing with us Vanessa and Jordan’s special day.
It’s finally feeling like winter outside. So we are kicking off our Winter Feature with a beautiful winter wedding, courtesy of the team at Bridal Solutions. The lovely couple, Ivonne and Pino, are owners of Toronto’s Dolce Gelato on College Street. To play off their love for what they do, the couple incorporated an ice sculpture filled with gelato from their shop, alongside a candy station for guests. Photos from Mimmo & Naz.
